Is This Logic Even Valid??

« Previous Next »

Today the professor gave us homework due by tomorrow. Or rather, an amount of report writing that’s physically impossible to complete in one day.

We were told at 3 p.m. I have a part-time shift from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. that day.
Travel time home from work: 1 hour.
Factor in eating, and there’s no way I get home before 11 p.m.

Yesterday there was also assigned homework, and I barely squeezed it in between midnight and when my shift ended at 2 a.m.
I also have to be back at school tomorrow afternoon.

When on earth am I supposed to do this?!
Grumble grumble grumble…

The professor knows I have a part-time job and assigned this anyway.

The professor’s logic:
24 hours – 5 hours for part-time = 19 hours. That’s plenty of time for a report.
That seems to be the reasoning.

I genuinely don’t understand it.
