Bought a water filter today.
Tokyo tap water just doesn’t agree with me…
The home center had all kinds of water filters — some that only remove chlorine, others that remove trihalomethanes, all sorts of options.
I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I went ahead and got one that removes everything.
And comparing before and after — the difference was striking.
No chlorine smell at all. The filter really works.
It’s not quite Nagoya water, but it feels a lot closer now. I boiled some for tea and it does taste different.
