A friend I’d played DrumMania with back in high school passed on their DTXPLORER to me.
It arrived today, and when I assembled it… it’s enormous.
My apartment is a studio. Storage is going to be a problem.
Immediately hooked it up to the PS2 “DrumMania Masterpiece Gold” and tried it out. Infinitely more comfortable than the arcade version, but I realized I couldn’t play freely out of concern for the noise to neighbors.
There’s room for improvisation — laying cushions underneath, turning up the pad sensitivity. I’ll work something out.
Honestly the most inconvenient part is the stool.
