Good weather last weekend, so I went to Odaiba.
So many people. I almost started thinking: “Do all Tokyo residents have a instinct to go to Odaiba on weekends?”
This is the Statue of Liberty replica in Odaiba. It was smaller than I expected — a little bit of a letdown.
This time I visited the Miraikan (National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation) and Venus Fort. I’d been to Miraikan about 4 years ago on a Tokyo trip, and many of the exhibits had been updated.
What caught my eye in particular was the ASIMO demonstration.
And it was a newer model capable of dynamic walking (running), so I got to see ASIMO run for the first time.
For ¥500 admission, the exhibits are genuinely substantial — if you’ve never been and are interested in science, I’d recommend it.
