My first impression was, “It’s cooler than the old one.”
The keyboard is pretty easy to type on, and the layout is decent. It’s an improvement over the previous one.
The palm rest feels good too. It fits just right.
However, I have a complaint about the LCD screen. The colors are poor, and it’s hard to see without lowering the contrast.
Without a doubt, the LCD’s quality must have decreased.
Also, this is just my personal feeling, but I wish the USB ports were placed in the back right.
The USB ports are either on the front right or back left, and when I plug in my mouse, it inevitably gets in the way.
But still. Considering it comes with Centrino at this price, it’s definitely a bargain.
I don’t think you’d regret buying it.
Back in the day, it would have been impossible to buy something like this at such a price.
