…That being said, this might be my first long holiday since becoming a graduate student.
After graduating from undergraduate studies, I didn’t have a spring break before becoming a graduate student, nor a Golden Week, summer holiday, New Year’s, or even the recent spring break.
Last year, school was until August 6th, and the plan was to come to the seminar after getting things done by August 26th.
However, in reality, there were constant instructions via email, and I recall Obon holidays truly began around August 12th.
Thinking about it, this year is quite relaxed.
I should make plans to spread my wings a bit. For now, other seminar members are going to Osaka until July 20th to participate in the RoboCup 2005 Osaka World Championship, so it wouldn’t be a bad idea to make a trip to Osaka to cheer them on.
I haven’t driven much since buying my car. I’ve been bored with always taking the same routes anyway.
Oh, that reminds me,
I was looking through past emails last night to organize the information of the users who are using this home server.
It turns out I started recruiting users for this home server in the summer of 2003. It’s already been two years, hasn’t it?
I was a bit surprised.
When I think that some of the old users and I have been connected for two years now,
I sometimes wonder if that’s quite an amazing thing.
I think managing a website for over two years requires consistent effort and a genuine passion for it.
Moreover, looking at the file update times, almost everyone has updated something within the last three months.
Thank you all very much for putting up with my whims, like suddenly changing server settings sometimes.
I look forward to your continued support.
…And it would make me incredibly happy if the users actually read this. (^_^;)
