Apparently 3 million unused advance tickets for the Expo remain.
With 30 days left in the event, about 100,000 tickets would need to be used per day to get through them all.
Factoring in general visitors on top of that, the next month is going to be extremely crowded.
So they announced admission restrictions for September.
Once a certain daily headcount is reached, no additional visitors will be admitted — regardless of whether you have a reservation or traveled from far away. A uniform cap.
The recommendation is to visit on a weekday when it’s less crowded.
