Went back to the family home last weekend for the first time in a while.
I went to return a Naritasan prayer tablet that had been in my old car (a Toyota Allex) — and while I was there, thought I’d do some proper prayers too. Climbing the stairs, I came across this:
Tokitsukaze Katsuo… where have I heard that name…
This is Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture.
Oh — THAT sumo stable. The one that’s been in the news.
And it was prominently placed on a large corner pillar — quite visible.
