I realized this blog has more readers than I thought.
And a few people seem to use it as a life-check for me…
The blog went about two weeks without an update — as you probably guessed, work had me on lots of business trips with no days off.
Phew. Before I knew it, the low temperature hit 6°C?
Winter.
Cycling is heading into off-season.
This weekend I got out and about. Took the camera along, so a few highlights:
① Odaiba
The Michael Jackson live rehearsal footage had been made into a film, and a friend and I went to see it. We’d originally planned to go to Toho Cinemas in Roppongi, but at 11 a.m. everything was fully booked through 10 p.m. — so we quickly pivoted to Cinema Mediage in Odaiba.
② Tokyo Disneyland
A friend from Nagoya came up to visit for the long weekend, so we went. First time since moving to Tokyo. The crowd — on a weekday! — was genuinely overwhelming. Almost more people than I could handle.
Don’t ask why I didn’t take more photos at TDL. Too many people to think straight.
③ Don Quijote
A Don Quijote opened near Kamata Station on October 30.
Absolute wall-to-wall people there too.
The grocery prices are low enough that it might start affecting the nearby supermarkets (which were already expensive!) and drugstores.
All three photos are night shots, for some reason.
Oh well.
Back to work tomorrow.
