I installed Windows 95 in VMware, which has appeared in this blog before.
Surprisingly, I’ve actually never used 95. When I started university, the mainstream was 98 and NT. And my first PC was 98SE, if I remember right.
It would be nice if this brings back some nostalgia for people who remember it. Though I suppose younger folks probably have no idea what this era was like.
My home PC setup is an AthlonXP 2800+ with 512MB of RAM — and even running in the emulator, it ran smoothly. I guess an OS that could run on old hardware really is something.
The installation only took about 5 minutes too.
