I went. During Silver Week.
Drove up to the 5th Station — the highest point accessible by car — but we drove straight into the cloud on the right side of this photo and couldn’t see anything. Disappointing.
On the way back, heading north along the western side of Fuji, we got a clear view in the late afternoon light.
Came back to the family home for the first time in a while — a day spent properly with family. (Then had to drive back to Tokyo and work a weekend shift. That part I’d rather forget.)
