I’d visited the Railway Museum before, but since I’d just bought a DSLR I went back to retake the photos.
The museum itself hadn’t changed much, but they’d added a special corner featuring the Series 0 Shinkansen (the bullet train in the photo above).
You can look underneath the body too, getting a glimpse of the cutting-edge technology Japan had in the 1950s.
At the center of the museum’s highlight area — the History Zone — a steam locomotive stands as the main attraction, with a whistle demonstration daily at 12:00 and 15:00.
